The Fort Pierce lumberyard has occupied the same building just off U.S. Highway #1 on Avenue A since the company’s inception in 1902. Located within the city’s recently re-developed, historic downtown area and right across the street from city hall and the new 4-story public parking garage makes the facility easy to find and access. In 2010 the showroom area was expanded and remodeled and a full line Ace Hardware now occupies the heart of the old structure. This marriage of an old line lumberyard and an American tradition in retail hardware products has proven to be a good mix for both local building professionals and do-it-yourselfers as well.
